In my artistic practice, I focus my work and research on the complexity of human-animal relationships and the ways in which our collective and individual identities are forming in relation to it. The analysis of the tactics used by today’s industries in order to get profit by inhuman treatment of animals, I use as information templates for creating my artistic attitude. As a dominant one, the process which stands out is the actualization of the selected narrative in order to re-examine the content, which then becomes a guideline for establishing constructive dialogue. The ambition of my practice is to reconstruct moral and ethical attitudes built under different cultural influences, with the aim of understanding the diversity of perceiving animal as “other” and unknown, but which is in fact close to us.
